Adding Folddown Seats

(Note: This process works on 87-90 berettas. I've never done it on a newer 91-96 beretta, but a few others (Thanks Jim & Others!!) have emailed me and confirmed that it works the same.)

Adding fold down seats is a very easy process. The hardest part is finding a junked beretta with a fold down seat in good condition and in the same color as yours. Once you find one, here's how to remove them. First you have to take the lower part of the seat off. For this you'll need a 13mm socket. Theres only 2 bolts to take out and then the seat just pulls out. The bolts can be found underneath along the front edge of the seat itself. 1 on the left side, and one on the right. After you get that out of the way you can access the bolts for the seat back. Again it's only two bolts to remove (the bolts are kind of in the center, one on the left and one on the right). You will need a T50 torx socket to get these out. You can buy this socket for about $5.75 at the home depot. I've heard T47 is the actual size, but T50 works. Those bolts hold the seatbelts in and are very tough to get loose. Put your T50 bit in the bolt, and lightly hammer it in a little bit so it gets a good hold. Otherwise you'll just knock it out when you try and turn it. Once you get those two bolts out, just push up on the seat. There's three hooks at the top and once you push up you can feel it let go. That's it, just swap it in now.
