My trunk rattles a lot. What do I do?

The right way to go about it would be to invest in some Dynamat. You can buy it in sheets and just put it around inside the trunk. Should make a big improvement. Only downside is that its pretty expensive. If you want to take the cheaper route, here's some options.

1. Go to some place like the Home Depot. In the roofing section look for a product called "Weather Watch" "Ice Guard" or "Storm Guard". It is very similar to Dynamat only a bit thinner so you might want to double up the layers. Last I checked, a 150 sq ft. roll cost about $40.

2. Go to a place like Walmart (the auto section with all the spray cans and stuff..) or any local auto parts store. Look for something in a spray can called "Rubberized UnderCoating". This is similar to the spray types of sound deadening you see. It should run you about $2-3 a can. I've sprayed this on the inside of the trunk, and even some on the underside of my car. It helped a lot. Only downside is that it will be sticky. After letting it dry good sand it down a little and it should be ok.

Note: I can't make any guarentees on these cheaper ways so use at your own risk. Also, read the instructions on how to apply it.
